Speckled Trout Fishing

Speckled
trout fishing is hot in May and June and from October through January. Late Spring we catch trout under birds on virtually any lure that we
throw. Drifting reefs is also
effective during late Spring. In
the Fall we catch speckled trout a number of different ways. Working birds is a sure bet when they work but drifting reefs can produce
bigger trout at times. Drifting
reefs for specs in East, West, and Trinity Bays all part of the Galveston Bay
Complex is routine in the Fall. Weather
dictates which bays we’ll be trout fishing and we utilize all of them as
needed to stay in the hottest areas.
